Tim Null is a highly sought after rater with over 30 years of experience in the Workers Compensation Community. His roots in the work comp field run deep, starting with his father, Dave Null, an Information & Assistance supervisor for 40 years. After college, Tim joined the work comp community first as a claims examiner at SCIF and UEF, then moving to DEU as a board rater for Santa Monica and Van Nuys. While at Van Nuys he was asked to become a member of the schedule revision committee and co-authored the AMA schedule. In 2005, Tim left DEU to build a private rating business, joined by his wife, Melissa, and later his son and daughter. For the last two decades, Tim Null Rating Services has become a premier provider of comprehensive rating services for the work comp community.
His unique background includes a bachelor's degree in biomechanics and kinesiology. This gives him valuable insight and understanding in evaluating doctor’s reports, thus creating better ratings. Tim is able to take complex rating challenges and provide his clients with a better understanding of the rating. An analytical and inquisitive mindset, combined with his passion for all things ratings, make him an expert rating specialist.
